Friday Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet with a dominant period 11 seconds. A light chop on the intracoastal waters. Slight chance of showers. Slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Friday Night South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 10 knots after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 feet with a dominant period 10 seconds. A light chop on the intracoastal waters. Slight chance of showers in the evening.

Large swell generated by Hurricane Earl will continues to impact the east central Florida coastline through Friday morning. Though swell heights have already peaked earlier today... conditions will be slow to improve through the overnight hours.
Breaking waves up to 6 to 8 feet this afternoon and evening will continue to produce very rough and dangerous surf and numerous rip currents. Tides up to 2 feet above normal are expected to produce runup to the dune line ..with some breaching possible. Minor beach erosion is possible during the next two high tide cycles.
